Terms of service

We host your website and run the platform it's built on: the admin, the shop and the add-ons you choose. Design, content and custom development are separate work, quoted and billed on their own; they're never part of a plan.

• Plans are month to month or yearly, with no minimum term. Yearly is charged at 10 months' price.
• You pay in advance, by card through Stripe, or by invoice where we've agreed it.
• Add-ons start straight away; the part period is added to your next bill, and taken off it if you remove one.
• Prices are in Australian, US or European currency, or pounds, and you keep your currency while you pay. Australian businesses are charged GST where it applies.
• If we raise a price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your next bill at the new price. A lower price applies straight away.
• A failed payment doesn't switch anything off at once: we'll ask you to update your card. If a bill stays unpaid, we may pause the site until it's sorted.

• What's on your site is yours, and you're responsible for it: its words, images, products and prices, and that you have the right to use them.
• Your shop takes payments through your own Stripe account. Your customers, refunds, taxes and the laws that apply to selling are yours to look after.
• Keep your sign-in safe. Owners must use an authenticator app.
• Don't use the platform for anything illegal, harmful or misleading, to send spam, or to try to break or overload it. We may pause a site that does, and will tell you why.

Output/Input support can always sign in to your site to help you. You'll see when we have, under Activity, and we only do it to help, fix something or keep the platform safe.

We work hard to keep sites up and fast, and back everything up every night, but we can't promise the platform will never be unavailable or that nothing will ever be lost. Keep your own copy of anything important — Settings · Export everything gives you all of it.

You can leave whenever you like: tell us, or stop your plan on Settings · Plan, and it ends at the end of the period you've paid for. Download everything first. We'll help move your domain if you need it.

Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll email the owners of every site before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia.
