Oi (beta): ask for a change
What Oi is
Oi is an assistant inside your admin. You ask for a change in plain words and Oi shows you what it would do. Nothing happens until you approve it. It only does what your role could do yourself. Oi is in beta, so tell us when it gets something wrong.

Ask Oi
Open Oi
Click Ask Oi, bottom-right of any admin screen, or open Oi from More. It knows which screen you were on.
Type what you want
For example: “Change the heading on the About page to Meet the team.” Be as plain as you like.
Read the card
Each change appears as a card with the old words beside the new, or the draft Oi will make.
Approve or leave it
Tap Approve and the change is made. Leave it and nothing happens.
What Oi can do
Change words already on a page, make a new page, draft an article, edit an article, and move an order one stage on without sending an email. Pages and articles are always drafts, so you publish them yourself.
What Oi won't do
It never touches money (refunds, prices, discount codes, invoices), never deletes anything, never takes your site live and never changes domains. Bigger asks, like a new feature, go to us with “Ask us”.
Questions
Can anyone else read what I ask?
No. Your conversations with Oi are yours alone.
Why did Oi say it can't?
Either your role can't do it in the admin, or it's something Oi never does. It offers to send the request to us instead.
