Upload photos
Every photo on your pages and products lives in one library, under Images. Upload them there first, or straight from a section or a product as you work.

Open Images
On a computer, Images is in the sidebar. On a phone, tap More, then Images.
Tap Add images
Choose one photo or many from your computer or phone. They go up three at a time, each saying Uploading…, and new ones appear at the front.
Or drag or paste them in
Drag photos anywhere onto the library. On the Images screen you can also paste a copied image or screenshot.
Describe each one
Tap a photo, type what's in it under Describe this photo, and tap Save. It helps people who can't see the photo, and search engines.
Upload while you edit
In a section, Choose an image opens the same library with its own upload. You can also drag a photo straight onto an image slot, and it's added to the library and used there in one go.
Good to know
- Use JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or SVG. Anything that isn't an image is named and left out.
- Big photos are shrunk before they're sent, to 2000 pixels on the longest side. Each one must still be under 4 MB.
- PNGs with see-through parts, like logos, stay PNGs.
- An SVG containing code is refused, to keep your site safe.
- The Storage bar at the top of Images shows how much you've used.
