Choose where form messages go

Everything people send through a form lands in your Inbox, always. On top of that, each form can email someone when a message arrives. Leave the address empty and it goes to the site's Owners.

2 minutesOwners and ManagersWorks on a phone

  1. On the form itself

Open Content, then Forms, and tap the form. Under When they send it, type addresses into Send submissions to, separated by commas. It saves on its own.

  2. Or, for every form at once

Open Settings, then Who gets notified. On a phone, Settings is under More. Under Forms, each of your forms has its own card.

  3. Turn the email on or off

Each form has a switch. Off, nobody is emailed, but the message still lands in your Inbox.

  4. Choose who gets it

With the switch on, fill in Goes to. Leave it empty for the site's Owners.

  5. Copy someone in

Tap Copy someone else in to add CC and BCC addresses.

  6. Save

Tap Save at the bottom of the screen.

Good to know

  • Send submissions to on the form and Goes to in Who gets notified are the same setting, so changing one changes the other.
  • Who gets notified also covers emails about the shop: a new order, running low on stock, and a payment that didn't go through.
  • With the shop, Settings · Enquiries picks the one form people use to ask about a product. Its messages follow that form's settings here.

Questions

Can each form go to a different person?

Yes. Each form has its own card in Who gets notified, so the enquiry form can go to one person and the contact form to another.

Do I lose messages if I turn the email off?

No. Off only stops the email. Every message still lands in your Inbox.
