Help/Getting started/A tour of your admin

A tour of your admin

Your admin is where you run your website, shop and customers. On a computer, every screen is in the sidebar on the left. On a phone, the bar along the bottom holds Home, Orders, Inbox, Products and More, and More opens the rest.

The first time you open Home, a Welcome card offers Show me around: four things worth knowing, in one short list.

What's where

  1. Home

The first screen. Orders to do and Paid this month (when you sell), a graph of how it's going over 7 days, 30 days or 12 months, Needs you today, and Recent activity.

  2. Orders and Products

Only there when your site has the shop. New orders show as a count on Orders.

  3. Inbox

Every enquiry sent through a form on your site, with the person's details. The count shows how many are new.

  4. Content

Your website's words, as tabs: Pages, Articles, Forms and Menus (and Help centre, when your site has one). On a phone it's under More.

  5. Images

Your photo library. Every photo on your pages and products comes from here.

  6. Contacts, Team and Activity

Contacts holds everyone who has written or bought. Team is who can sign in. Activity shows everything the team changed, and who.

  7. Get help

Write to us in your own words. We can see which screen you were on, so there's no need to explain where you are.

  8. Settings and Your account

Settings holds selling, messages, your business, your site and your plan. Your account is your name, sign-in and where you're signed in.

Good to know

  • View site, at the top of every screen, opens your website in a new tab. On a phone it's the arrow icon.
  • On a computer you can fold the sidebar to icons with the button at its top, and open it again the same way.
  • During a free trial, a line at the top says how many days are left.
  • What you see depends on your role. Staff see Home, Orders, Inbox, Contacts and Get help. Managers see everything else too, and a few settings are for Owners only.
