Branding: colours, logo and Look
Branding is where your site gets its logo, the little icon in the browser tab, its three colours and its overall Look. The admin itself always stays in output/input colours, so only your site changes.

Open Settings, then Branding
On a computer, choose Settings in the sidebar. On a phone, tap More, then Settings. Branding is under Your business.
Add your logo
Under Logo, tap Choose an image and pick one from your Images. A PNG or SVG on a clear background works best. It shows in your site's header instead of your site's name.
Add a favicon
Under Favicon, choose a square image. It's the little icon in the browser tab. Until you add one, your site uses output/input's icon. Remove image takes it off again.
Pick your three colours
Text is for headings and words, Accent for buttons, links and the small label above headings, and Background sits behind everything. Use the colour swatch, or type a hex code like #2060EE. Start from light or Start from dark gives you a sensible set to begin with.
Check the sample
A small sample shows your colours together before you save. If the text will be hard to read on your background, you'll see a warning. If the accent is close to the background, words in it are shown a shade darker so they can be read.
Choose a Look
Simple is a calm column of words and pictures that suits most businesses. Studio has wider pages, big bold headings, round buttons and cards, and a soft wash of your colours behind the page.
Save branding
Tap Save branding. The button reads Saved once your site has the change.
Good to know
- Upload your logo and favicon in Images first if they aren't there yet.
- With the Studio look, make a page's first section a dark band and the header sits on top of it.
- The same screen holds Menu on a phone. See Choose your phone menu.
- Your logo from Branding is also what Google is told about your business.
