Take an order from New to Done

When someone pays, the order lands in Orders as New and you get an email about it. From there it moves forward one stage at a time: New, In progress, Sent, Done. Each move can email the customer.

The shop is an add-on. If you can't see Orders or Products, an Owner can add it under Settings · Plan, in Add to your plan.

  1. Open Orders

On a computer, choose Orders in the sidebar. On a phone, tap Orders at the bottom. The number on it counts paid orders nobody has started on.

  2. Find new orders

Tap the chips to see one stage, or the note at the top that says how many new orders need confirming.

  3. Open the order

Tap it to see what they bought, their details, their note, where it's going and what they paid. Tap Copy address for the label.

  4. Start on it

Tap Mark as in progress. A sheet opens with the email the customer will get. Edit it, or turn off Email the customer. Then confirm.

  5. Send it

Tap Mark as sent. Add the Carrier and Tracking number if you have them (both optional). The tracking number goes into the email for you.

  6. Finish it

Tap Mark as done. The email is off for this one by default; turn it on if you want to send one.

Good to know

  • An order only moves forward. There's no button to go back a stage.
  • You can rename the stages in Settings · Order statuses. The buttons follow your names.
  • The emails start from your wording in Settings · Customer emails.
  • Customers can follow each stage on Track my order.
